Anybody have the exact wire to pull from ECM to disconnect the
1-4 shift. Saw previous posting but did not have my 90 ECM info.
My ECM plug colors are, Brown-Green-Red-Yellow.

Thanks,

To disconnect the 1-4 shift just unplug the cags plug on the side
of the Trans: and tape up the ends thats it.

Marathoner,

He is exactly right. To be more specific though, it is a two wire plug, and you will find it comes out of the harness that is towards the rear of the trans up near/at the shifter mechanism.

The tape helps keep it from getting all corroded up there if an when you decide to replug it some day.

There is a CAGS plug seal kit that MidAmerica and Ecklers sells and cost around $9.95. I would advise getting this rather than taping as there's no guarantee the tape will last.
