Alright guys i was looking around a bit and stumbled across this article. It does make sense to me, and i am willing to investigate and possibly eventually carry out these steps on my car. I was wondering what some of the other people thought about this. Also has anyone had any experience with these steps and if so how did you do it. I know some stuff i could probably do myself, however there are a few i cannot. If you have any knowledge about getting some of this done i would like to hear about it.

Thanks again

It depends on your goals. There is validity in what is said, but remember this guy is trying to sell HIS products and HIS vision of the goals that reflect the use of his products.

Do you have an auto or manual trans and what do you want to do with it. There is a lot of money involved in carrying out the whole plan. There are minor mods you can do yourself for minimal bucks that will net you a few ponies. After that, open the checkbook or get a loan and plan on some down time for your ride.

and if you still have questions ask away.

The article was done from the input given by TPIS. They are a very knowledgeable group of guys. I do agree with moonunit that they do plug this toward their products. You must read it and decide if you are going to go that for or beyond before you spend your dollars. I did go beyond that point and actually spent less than his prices by shopping around. Example- you can buy longtube headers from hooker( 2149 or 2151) for $650 or less while tpis is $750 plus shipping. You can also buy heads for less. I am not taking away from them, they are good, however, you can save money and obtain the same results. Again it depends on what you hope to gain. SHOPPING AROUND IS THE KEY. Bob

Heads and cam aren't a cheap package! Those TPIS heads are in the $1200 neighborhood and cams are in the $300+ range. They made it sound like there is some miracle way to add power. There isn't a miracle way because power costs money.

I do agree that those TPIS headers are quite expensive but I do believe they are coated right? They tout their headers as being extremely easy to install without having to mess with the starter or doing any bending of any type.

There is always eBay, you can get deals but you have to look long and hard because they get snatched up pretty quick.
