Hey CACrs, me and the vette are back in action and needn help. Ive got some sidepipe pics to comen that are long over-do with special thanks coming to Robin7TFour ( the man ). I need help or tips on rebuilding a 1405 edelbrock. My tank has rust flakes from hell that have clogged everything in its way. Im replacing everything rubber along the way from the steel line on. Im going to open the 1405 and clear it out as well as drop the tank and flush it.
As far as the carb goes what should I be looking for. I dont want to take it off, open it, and shake it like a shoe with a rock in it. The carbs only 7months old so i want to take good care of it and make it tip top again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
