I have ordered a set of 18" wheels so as to fit a set of upgraded brakes in, But I was wondering if anyone has recomendations as to which make of tyre and which size (profile ) to go for with the stock widths. I use the car occasionally on the race track but also want a tyre thats OK in the wet as the weather here can be unpredictable ! I originally wanted a set of the new Goodyears (GS D3 I think) but as far as I know they don't make the 18" sizes. Any advice would be appreciated.

You should be able to squeeze a 335/30/18 in the rear, the fronts their should be a 285/35/18. You might be looking at Michelin Pilot sports or Pirelli P Zeros for you as only options though. I think these are standard Viper sizes as well.
