Welcome to the :CAC

The car in question was discussed in an earlier thread >> http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25609

It is indeed a Callaway Corvette at a really fair price - Rogers Corvette Center has a reputation for high quality Corvettes and I doubt this car is any different. Although I have not dealt w/ that dealership myself, others speak highly of the place however warn, there is little room to discuss your thoughts on the prices...

Please contact Joanne Mercer at Callaway Cars Inc. for confirmation / history on the car - she is at jmercer@callawaycars.com or call 860-434-9002
Good luck w/ your decision :beer

Thanks for the replys, I found that out about price when I talked to Roger. I was informed that they don't except offers AT ALL. I have had 8 corvettes including 2 very fast and rare Zr1s and negoiated on them all:bash. Problem is if the man has the car you want, what you gonna do???:r

...so what are you going to do???????:Steer

What U gonna do

Well I informed David at Rogers Corvette that I will buy it:Steer, and the paperwork is being completed on monday. I'm not local so were doing everything remotely and it will be shipped up to me. :pat

I just returned from a business trip to Orlando. I made a visit to Rogers Corvettes just to look at their inventory. Getting into the dealer parking was difficult (fences all around and no direction). I parked in back and found my way in. I was promptly met and when I said I was just looking and that I had an 81, is was like, ok, we don't need to waste our time with you.... Great looking cars in the showroom but poor customer service skills. They know they have great cars and who cares if you are looking, someone will buy them....if not you....at their price...

It's a great looking car and worth the asking price. Enjoy.

Congrats!! Obviously from the other thread, I was considering this car, and I have no doubt she is bad azz! I wound up getting another turbo car to play with. But I'm curious to hear your impressions. Hope it all went well for you and have fun with that beast :cool

Well I completed all paperwork and Overnighted the money. Now we are waiting for the car to ship. I would like to thank all who have responded to my questions especially Josh.
So how do these cars really compare to the Zr1s? My best time with my old ZR1 was 12.2@117.4 on street tires. That includes a 0-60ft time of .98 (no traction). :Steer
I have a site that I am tearing down but it will be up for a few more days if anyone wants to check out my old ZR1s here it is http://members.aol.com/crosschkm/

I picked up a '94 6 spd Supra, single turbo (HKS T04R, roughly 67mm) with upgraded fuel system and all the goodies. I have admired these cars for a LONG time and it was just a must have. I can say this for certain, I am now a boost addict! :eek :upthumbs So don't count me out for a Callaway just yet ;)

Cross, glad it came together. You are in with a great group of guys here!!!
