1953 Torque Rating?

Can anyone confirm for me what the torque rating was for the Blue Flame 6 in the '53 Corvette? The value I have in the Model Center seems way too high and I just came across a reference of 140 lb-ft @4200 RPM.

NCRS Pocket Spec Guide says:

235 L-6
hp: 150@4200,
torque: 223@2400
c.r. 8:1

Seems right to me. About the same hp to torque spread of other engines of the time. Camshaft change during '54 model run increased hp to 155@4200 and torque to 225@2800 for the rest of '54 and the few '55 sixes..
