Saw this Corvette for sale and have question?

Corvettes for Sale: Super Rare 1957 Headed to Carlisle’s Lakeland Winter Auction

Question is: What is meant by power top bonnet delete.
Add claims the 1957 rare Corvette has power top. Are they talking about the convertible top hard boot? If so
never heard of power top bonnet delete.
Has anyone else. Is this a scam?

Never heard of that either. No mention of any such option in the RPO list for 1957. Never heard of GM referring to any top or lid as a bonnet either. No English Corvette engineers that I know of. Also not aware of any delete options back in those days. Everything was an option. If you didn't have a radio or whatever it wasn't deleted because it had to be specifically ordered by RPO number to be there in the first place. Might be fun to call them and ask what a hard top bonnet is.

Interesting to say the least. I looked at the photo of the car, only one photo, and the top is up. Also says it has the hardtop. If there was no convertible top compartment lid there would be no place to latch the rear of the soft top or the hard top. I can't imagine what else they would call a bonnet.
