something definitely strange wrt car was stolen, especially after checks that Lance asserts were done before his purchase, which I don't doubt all due diligence was taken

Wouldn't you think that if the car was stolen from the guys Dad, that he would have reported it years ago.
Then he applies for a title just recently but doesn't have the car. Good way to cover your bases but the timing seems a little off.

I hope for Lance, the foundation and Mr Carr that this is cleared up as soon as possible.
