Question: 1960 Corvette RPO469C/579D&aluminum radiator

Hi, I was reviewing Joe Spielman's 1960 Corvette restoration project by Paragon Vintage.
Paragon Vintage stated the original stock hood was reworked to match an original top tank hood.

Does this mean in 1960 there were two part number hoods used in production.

Yes, there were two hoods used in 1960 - early cars used the '59 hood, and later cars with top-tank aluminum radiators required a new hood, used for '60 and partway into '61.

You probably know Joe. He has owned 33 Corvettes and currently has three. One is prized 1967 Red Red hydraulic lifter BB with black stripe (Stinger)
Joe saved the C5 Corvette from demise.
