Question: 1960 Steering Wheel Cover??

Well, looking for a steering wheel cover locally and all I seem to find is 15 1/2 inch covers. My steering wheel is 17 inches.

I started looking online and it appears all I see referenced for a 1960 is 15 inch steering wheels. What gives?

What is the standard size for a 1960. I KNOW this is the original steering wheel. Wondering - was power steering available on the 1960 Corvette - and maybe the 15 inch was if there was power steering and the 17 inch was for non-power steering to give more leverage? ;help

I believe the standard size is 17" and there was no power steering option in 1960.
