1960 Wonderbar Radio

How much difference if any is there is the wonderbar radios for 56-60? Mine is dead and I have seen some for sale for other years and I wonder if it is worth it to investigate these other radios or get mine fixed. Any suggestions?

58-60 radios are identical. 61and 62 radios are slightly different, and 56-57 radios have a 2 peice chassis.

I've seen C1 Wonderbar radios selling for well over $400.00. A repair/refurbish will run $175-$200. Here is a link to a prior forum discussion on repair places.

I opted to have mine repaired by Joes Classic Car Radio. It works great! I am considering having a new face plate installed on mine over the winter since it is a little pitted.
