I seldom use the convertible top just usually to store up under the car cover, but when I was home last it started to rain on the way home.
Every thing went on fine, latched, so started driving and the drivers side latch started popping undone.
So holding on with one hand and driving with the other I made it safely home.
Review shows a bent piece of angle just forward of the drivers head on the left side of the frame.
So that leads into the question, can I replace that piece or have the frame restored and a new top put on.
The top is due, so thats not a problem.
Can anyone suggest a good place to have this done in the Central Florida area as I live in Casselberry Fl.
I hope someone here has had experience with a great shop.
thanks
Rocky

Go to oldtown on Sat night and find Mike Colletta (usually sitting behind his black midyear with the 3 dvd movie players going) and next to a gorgious 62 resto rod and ask him. If he is not completely booked with work he is the best.

thanks Tyler, I am still working in Mexico so if you run into him could you please get his info for me.
I can always have my son take the car to him.
I only get home every couple of months.
Hopefully I can get a few things done, before the summer is over.
I owe you a beer.
