1962 Fuel Injectors

I have a friend who is looking for injectors for his 62 Vette. I'm looking for sites/informatin as to who to check with. I odn't think it matters if its new or rebuilt.....either I am sure would be great! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have a picture of the injector type he is looking for.

Exactly what does he want?

A poster named "Roy A." asked a question similar to yours on the CorvetteForum a few weeks ago. This was my response:

"I don't know if he is looking for manufacturers of reproduction nozzles for a 1962 Rochester FI system, or if he wants to buy an original 1962 7017360 series FI system. I guess he might even be interested in an aftermarket injection system.

I can't help him with aftermarket injection systems, new or old. I can, however, give him the phone numbers of the two manufacturers of reproduction Rochester nozzles. I can also put him in touch with a dozen or so Rochester FI rebuilders who are honest. Just about all of these rebuilders will have a stock '62 Rochester FI unit or know of one for sale."

I haven't had any personal experience with Podell, only know that he is one of the dealers in fuel injection systems for the early cars.

Jerry B is as honest as they come (too honest for some), if he has offered his advice and assistance on something he knows well (like FI, which he does) I would take that path in a heartbeat . . . . .
