I AM ABOUT TO INSTALL THE NEW CARDBOARD TACK STRIP IN MY 1962 SOFT TOP FRAME FRONT BOW. I GUESS ONE METHOD IS TO SHAVE IT A LITTLE AND SQUEEZE IT IN FROM THE TOP USING LIQUID NAILS TO HOLD IT. ANOTHER METHOD IS TO SLIDE IT IN FROM EITHER SIDE, TAKING A CHANCE OF IT HANGING UP HALF WAY IN WHICH WOULD BE A BIG PROBLEM.
ANY ADVICE FOR THIS FIRST TIMER?

Any Advice

Hi Dave,

I am undertaking the rebuild of my soft top on a '62 and am looking for advice on installing the tack strip in the frame front bow. Can you relay any advice?
Thanks, Michael
