I know most of you guys have the teakwood steering wheel. Love to have one too but can't seem to take my death grip off of $500+ to do so. I've got the original simulated wood wheel that has it's share of cracks. It's currenty wrapped with leather to match the interior. Is there anyone who repairs these original but broken wheels at a reasonable cost? It the costs of repair are not 50% or less of the teakwood, then I'll pay the price for this overpriced jewel.

Thanks -- Bill

I did see a guy a Carlisle that fixed steering wheels. Don't remember the name maybe someone will. I quickly looked at his price sheet and thought is was a lot of $$$ ($275-$325 maybe???). I did say quickly so I don't remember what service was for what. I do think that he offered free estimates if you sent it in. If someone else remembers maybe give him a call.
