The Richmond literature all shows modifications to a '68 and up tranny mount BRACKET, but these are quite different from the '67.

#1 - 1968 and up

Notice how the 1968 up bracket design goes up and over the crossmember and bolts in the top center of the crossmember.

#2 - 1963-67 (facing forward to the right)

Unlike the '68 and up, the '67 bracket mounts pretty much on the front of the crossmember.

What have you guys with a Richmond 5-speed in a C2 done about this bracket?

I had to fabricate a new mount but since it's for my 57 I'm guessing "that's nice but not very helpful"...:SLAP

Richmond Transmission Mount

I used a C3 style mount as it seemed easier to modify. We welded it to the new removeable cross-member. You can see what it looks like in this picture which is the passenger side. Hope that helps.

Looking good, bet you'll be happy when you get her back from the body/paint shop....

I know I remember you stating why but I can't remember the reason and can't find the post.. What was the reason for going with the Richmond over the Tremec from Kiesler's??? I will be doing a change eventually(sometime in the future) and would be curious to your observations on the two.
