1968 Corvette Rallyes. Help

I’m new to Corvettes. I have a 1968 and I ordered 15x8 rallyes from Jegs and the rears hit the control arms. I realize 68 came with 15x7s but thought 15x8s would work since they came on 69s. Do I just need a different offset or will I have to buy offset control arms? Thanks.

Most aftermarket 15x8 rallys have the standard 4 1/2" back spacing on 8 inch wide wheels. Original GM ones for Vettes had a 4 inch back spacing, could be 3.75" backspacing. It's been a while since I messed with them. Check to see which ones you have purchased from Jegs for their back spacing. See if Jegs has the Vette versions. If not, I am pretty sure Corvette specific ones can be purchased through Corvette restoration parts companies.
