Wish I had known what I learned later about alternators for my original owner 1970. My 70's original alternator failed a few months after I bought it and it was under warranty and I did what most would of done in 1970, let the dealer replace it. The alternator the dealership put on was a new one and the service rep told me it was for a Buick.
