Does any have a vaccum diagram for for these cars or know where I can get one from. I am not so sure mine is working correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The BEST C3 vacuum system diagrams (and replacement hose kits) are sold by Dr. Rebuild - no comparison to those offered by other vendors.

Im sure the Corvette Assembly Manual for your year, would show how they are routed. What year is yours...mine is a 1970. Maybe i can look it up in my Assembly Manual and regular mail a photocopy to you. Advise.

Dave, mine is a 70 also. If you could find it that would be great. Just send an email as found in my profile or post it here. Either way would be great.

Eddie,

I checked my Assembly Manual, and they do not show vaccuum hose routing for the astro. Sorry i couldnt help.

SwaveDave, Look on page K155 and K156, I found it. I had some time on my hands and spent it looking at each page until I came across it. I know for sure that I didn`t connect the vaccum souce to the inside where it shows in page 155. I just thought that this was a drain because it was not connected to anything when I replaced the vaccum hoses. I am gonna go try to fix this now. Will let you know how it turns out.

Darn...i missed it the first time i looked. Sorry. I was real tired when i looked before. Hope you get it going.

I used my mity vac and found out that the astro vent doors do work. Good thing. But the manual says to cut the yellow vac line and to put a T in. Well that only applies if you have the control valve for the wiper door mounted in the fender well. Mine is on the fire wall by the master cylinder so I will have to comeup with some more 1/8 inch line to make this work. But I now know that it will work.
Thanks for getting me started anyway.

Thanks for trying but this is for a later model car with air conditioning. The Astro vent, from what I understand was only on cars without AC.

Yup, solid block-off covers were installed over the openings on A/C cars instead of the vacuum-operated flaps.
