I have the following info typed on my build sheet. Any clue what they mean? I had to read them from the back side as the front was unreadable.

2VC05AA
2VPG2HU
2VC32EA
2VK19AK
2VL25AA
2VC07AA

Many Thanks

Vito

Ignore the 2V prefix and two letter suffix of each code

C05= folding top (soft top) on convertibles
K19= AIR smog system
C07= optional hardtop, convertibles.

Not sure about the others- sure you've copied them correctly? Maybe
PG2= PO2 optional wheel covers
L25= LS5 454/270HP engine
C32 ??

Thanks Mikey

It makes sense now. I think you are correct. :cool!: I will recheck the last three, but yes I have the LS5 option. I was reading this on the back side so my 2 is probably an S. Most of the sheet is unreadable.

Cheers

Vito

One thing to keep in mind is build sheets are subject to typing mistakes. The build sheet for my '72 LT-1 'vert list the air conditioning option as "C06", not as the correct "C60".

I agree with Mikey. I think the codes are LS5 and P02. AA on the C05 folding top indicates white vinyl. The C32 throws me, but it could have been an in plant code to add a sticker or a label, possibly for the emissions equipment or the wheel covers.

Just a hunch.

I was able to piece together some of the rest of the build sheet.

2VPG2HU is 2VF62HU and typed next to it is Front Springs
2VC32EA is 2VO32EA and typed next to it is Rear Springs
2VL25AA is 2VLS5AA

Thanks for all the help guys. What a puzzle.

Cheers

Vito
