AIM = Assembly Instruction Manual, go to Corvette Central, Mid- America, Ecklers, and do a search for AIM. It is a "must have" if you do any work on your own vette.

I don't have the '72 Chassis Service Manual, but the frame dimensions are in every year's manual; maybe someone else has it and can scan it for you.
