I disagree. My bumper started cracking about five years ago and it is so brittle that just touching it can cause pieces to break off. I've seen others w/ the same problem.
Still plan on replacing it w/ the NOS one I bought a few years ago. Doesn't require cutting and fitting like the fiberglass and Tru-flex ones do.
