I am new here in the world of corvettes, but I have been a mechanic for many years and need some advice from the old school carb worthy gents. I am working on my uncles car after he had some rather bad engine issues. The computerized carbs E4ME from GM (I believe.) I have only seen 2-3 at the Cadillac dealer and need some help. I am overhauling the carb and noticed that the front vacuum break is present but the rear vacuum break is missing. I am with Cadillac and remember those about the same carbs had a rear vacuum break. Did Chevrolet do away with the rear break or did someone remove it? I sent a pic to my Uncle showing how the air valve rod is missing so disregard. I appreciate all your help!!
