magazine article in which they showed the future Vette for 1981, and I fell in love with the design. In 1985, I got Gail.

Well, this may sting a bit more. My recollection is that the article came out between 1977 - 1978. It was one of those Sunday Magazines that came inside the Sunday paper...lol

Yeah, in 1981 I had barely a year in the USMC, and thought of myself infallible ...that is why they call it wisdom...
