1982 alarm system

Anyone work on there 1982 alarm system.

They say that I have a switch under the hood and I can't find any.

Can someone tell me where it is located?

there should be a pin/plunger along the back of the engine comp.
a little towards the passenger side from center of the vette

I have nothing there like that,but I will look for wires and a place where it attached now.

It looks like a plunger that they use on the t-tops.

I will try to send a picture.

I have a plastice cover there, 2 screws that you see r holding it on.

It's covering 4 wire connectors.
