When you are retired and 65 ya gotta do something to keep out of trouble . You get some strange looks when you put the hammer to it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Thanx for the compliment

WAY COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! hows it run? Bet it sounds WILD at WOT!!:D :D :D

It is a joy to drive , the webers add a new level of driveability. The power is available at any rpm range . And yes it has lots of power if needed. I was running the 700r last year and just installed a tko over the winter ,,,,,,,,,,,

gman:)

quite impressive, gman.....
but not NEARLY as nice as a Cross-Fire, huh???
:eyerole :(
I really thought you'd show-off your new front plate!
:)
Marian and I had the '82 out both Sunday afternoon, and Tuesday afternoon, and are gonna try again this AM, before it rains!!!

i just gotta say, i've seen alot of shark engine compartments, and that is the coolest yet.

are you going to the cruise in? I'd love to see that thing in person

In hindsight the worse part of the job was fittting everything so that in the end it was serviceable . I was not in the market for a vette but was looking for a car , my wife suggested getting one . I wanted a shark , but I drove dozens of them offered at the various dealers in the area and was very disappointed in what was out there . The last dealer I tried had this car on the lot at a reasonable price sold as is . When I drove it I noticed resonating noise at cruise speeds with a light throttle , so I made an offer amid dire warnings from my better half .When I got the car home and put it on the lift I located the culprit , a minor heat shield was loose . The car was part of a divorce action and had been hidden for seven years from the spouse . To make a long story short , the car was very nice but a bit on the wimpy side with a cross fire .

After a bit I decided to add a bit of omphhh beneath the hood without having to hack up the body . I'm not sure about getting to the cruisein but I am going to give it a shot ! The attached is a pic of the car.

Kewl

that is sweet, you should keep your cross fire badges on like me,
so when the mustangs pick on you, and you pass them up, they sure
will feel retarded. Well then again, how can you pass them up, when you
are always in front LOL. :upthumbs

oooooooooowwwww you are a sneaky guy , but it is good to put the hammer on them now and then !
