1982 Fuel Filter Location

I want to change my Fuel Filter on my 1982 Vette. I have purchased the filter through Ecklers but I can't seem to locate where the fuel filter is on my vette.

Also, is there any tips or techniques I should know about the fuel filter before I change it. I know it is a pressurized fuel system and not sure if I need any special tools to change it.

Should be located on passenger side, right of tranny. Tucked near frame.

Thank You !! Will check tonight. Do I need to worry about the pressurized system or can I just remove and replace the filter as is.

No need to worry about the system being pressurized. Rear throttlebody has a tiny bypass hole in it allowing the system to depressurize itself very shortly after the pump shuts off. (At most, 3 seconds or so.)

Just be careful when replacing it; since it IS under the car, the siphoning effect will kick in and gas will spill all over the place if you're not careful!
