I read in the other posts that the vats can be bypassed with a bypass from Mid America. I have an 84 that I want to do away with the alarm system but the bypasses offered by Mid Am only works on 86 and above. Any idea how to jump or remove the alarm system from my Vette?
I will take a trip, stop to go into a store and when I come out at times the car will not crank, the alarm light blinks and after about 1/2 hour it will start fine. Car dosen't do it very often but just when I think everything is alright I'm left sitting again. I'm going to sell the car but don't want to push this off on someone else. Any help will be appreciated.
