Man, this site's the best! You guys are so cool; no one has to be told to "take it easy" (yet). :CAC

Rant on the Merlin car then yet I guess:D

I guess I didn't say if I liked it or not. I do kind of like it . Remember what the consept car was that turned into the corvette ? Nomad ring a bell ?

:w

With the way Barrett-Jackspn went this weekend, would not be shocked to see something like this bring in $75K - $80K next year. All it needs is the slide on camper and few fish decals on the side.

I gotta admit... I find it less repulsive than I thought I would... Whoever came up with the idea was a warped individual but he's got skills...

I have been wishing that GM would make something like this for years since the El Camino was discontinued. It has great lines, and tastefully done without any gaudy doodads. I would buy a new one if Chevy made an El Corvetto.

Well! Isn't that special?! I was appalled, yet pleasantly surprised at the same time. Maybe I should've looked this creative person up to do the redo-work on my Vette! :w

:puke :rA Corvette is a Corvette, and a pick-up truck is just a pick-up truck, they are worlds apart, and will never meet. Don't look at Porche or BMW, look at Ferrari and Lamborghini. To those Italians, it would be an abomination of a thing of beauty.

usually these kind of conversions are in bad taste, but this looks like it came from the factory, alot of thought went into this, and it shows. in the same vane as the as the concept '56 nomad...

Look to Lamborghini? Like the LM002? Lots of Countach parts in there under the skin...

Ettevroc's got the right idea, making it a show-car puller. Or get a trailer that's the back half of a Vette as advertised in some of the magazines (or home-made from a front-wrecked one).

Wish I had pix of the 4-door C3 Vette limo that used to cruise my neighborhood. Not like this one, though. Black and more tasteful.

Hmmmm, not enough ground clearance for Alaska fishing. The El Cormino might stick. I was okay with most of it, but not the ZR-1 stick-on.

I always wanted a C-1 like tow vehicle (not made from a real one) for show tows. I don't foresee the huge prices on this, though.
