The chip is a custom burned epom. The brand of the eprom? maybe Atmel electronics or Intel. IN any event, this chip's programming will absolutely blow away any pre-made , aftermarket chip like Hypertech or Jet.

Timing curve completely re-worked for max. toruqe, Torque conv. lockup delayed for instant throttle response, Fuel curve re-worked(when necessary), Fan temps set up for lower temp themostats, all factory speed limiters removed, rev limiter set, Vats deleted (upon request), various pesky trouble codes deleted, faster warm up times(closed loop timers adjusted), plus many other parameters.

It is specifically for a 1985 Auto so I thought you took it out of your car. I wanted to know why you did this.

No , sorry Chuck. I can burn them for auto or manual. Bascially any TPI or LT1 car from 1985-93. I saw this post mentioning an 85' and I thought I would provide input, because I have made several chips for 85 autos lately that have worked out really well and people love it!
