1986 Parking Brake

Looking for a 1986 parking brake assembly. I'm told they are now discontinued, and everywhere I look, only the 1988+ are available.

Does anyone know the difference between the 86 and 88? Can I interchange them?

What parts? Vette Brakes and Products carries everything (or did last year, when I was looking). You can also check out www.vette2vette.com, (email vette2vette@aol.com) which is a Vette recycler. I got some PB parts from him last year.

I'm looking for the whole parking brake assembly. The part inside the car, the handle.

Drop this guy an email or call him... ChuckPelton@comcast.net 248 681-4336 He recovers steering wheels and the hand brakes for corvettes. He usually has some laying around.
