1988 color query

Can anyone help - I'm looking at purchasing a 1988 C4, but the color is suspicious - it is light bronze or gold, with light beige (saddle?) interior and I can't find any documentation to back up that this color was available on the 1988.

The garage selling the car say this was an original color, but I'm not sure.

look under the center console... there should be all the options written in 3 digit codes.... it will tell you the color combo... it looks like it is more gray by the picture, so it could be gray or silver metallic. once you get the code let us know

Actually, now that I see the pictures, that looks like the 1988 color: Silver Metallic, which is correct for that model year.

They're calling it Light Bronze, but it looks Silver in the picture.

Thanks guys - the only problem with the silver option is that the interior is definitely beige (I guess the correct term for this interior is saddle).

Michael Antonick's "Illustrated Buyers Guide" doesn't mention saddle as an interior option on the silver, although the 1988 Spec Center on this site does have BK-G-R-S (S = saddle?)

Any thoughts? Anyone know of any pictures of the Bronze for comparison purposes?

I think you should try to check it out in person... those pics aren't the best... I think you will find out much more about the car when it is up close an personal....

I can assume someone could have ordered a silver car with tan inside.... but I don't think it would look too good
