Im looking for a seat wiring diagram. I know that all of the seats for C4s are pretty much the same so any year will do. Mine is a 1990. Can anyone help me?

Welcome onto the boards there...

I have '90 FSM (BIG book - takes time to find). I'll get it posted later today, unless someone beats me to it here...

Also have a set of '90 full power all option seats for sale...

Found parts schematic; will see if I can find wiring schema here...

I did not get a chance to get the actual wiring diagram; is THAT what you're needing? Or is the parts schematic got it?

That would be great too. Ive got a diagram from an 86 but theres nothing like having one from the exact year. These 1990 corvettes are oddballs. My haynes guide is almost useless.

Haynes Manual = bird cage liner...:rotfl Somewhere along the line every DIY'er figures that out!! If you're going to wrench on your own Vette, spend the money for the FSM for your vehicle.

I definitely agree BigJim! I just dont have the money for that right now. Ive been working pretty much blind on it for 4 years now. The only good thing so far is that I had R&M auto restorations rebuild and install the soft top. Especially since they found the parts Id bought to do it had been warped in a fire. If it wasnt so much fun to drive Id have sold it by now.

This is driver's side '90.

2 connectors come through the carpet -

a 6x connector, for the seat base tracking (whole seat forward backward, seat front up and down, and seat rear up and down),

and another pair, + and - , for nukin' the balloons in the seat itself.

. . . If it wasnt so much fun to drive Id have sold it by now.

Yikes! Don't give up now - you've invested too much time and energy in your '90 and the C4 guys we have on our board will help you out. They'll get you back on track (no pun intended :chuckle) in short order. I see Schrade has already posted diagrams for you.

So. . . I'm going to edit the first post in this thread, but only so that I can add the model year to the thread title. This will aid others doing searches for the same info.

Good luck with your repairs.
BTW - Welcome to the CAC!!

Thanks for the diagrams Schade! They are coming in quite handy. Ill have to pick up a FSM when i get a chance.

XLR i dont think i could sell her. I definitely dont want to. Just started taking it to the dragstrip this year. Cant wait to fix her problems and try again next season! Thanks for the welcome too! Thats a very nice car youve got there.
