1990 Oil Pressure

What should the oil pressure be on a rebuilt 1990 L98?

At cruise 45-60
At WOT, about 60+
cold idle, about 35-45
warm idle usually settles in the low 30s

Depends on the pump that was installed. It also makes a difference in the oil used. It should be 60# cold at 1200 rpm and not less than 30# anytime on a fresh rebuild.

Rule of thumb is 10psi for every 1000 RPM.
