Question: 1990 Rad for 89?

Not sure about the exact fit...most yrs were the same radiator with minor differences in placement of some fittings and what kind of shroud held it in place. Look at the placement of the trans cooler lines, and see where the shroud fits around those. The mounting will be the same or very close. Check the location of the low coolant sensor as well. My guess is that the L-98 rads will interchange as long as they're for auto trans.

I'd go to E-Bay and find a company thats got replacements, and see if those yrs fall into the same replacement part...ex: 84 or 85-89 then 90-91 then 92 -96. Thats not accurate but just an example of maybe what to look for in the sellers ad. Some of those guys also have a 800 number to call for assistance.

Probably not properly
84 - 89 has vertical radiator.
90 -96 has radiator laid back so hose fittings may be at wrong angles

The whole unit with shroud and fans will swap in using year correct rad hoses

Hi guys, I have two options open to me and they are a)Get the rad recored here for £90, get a 12 month warranty and if it fails in that time I take it back 15 miles away. Or b) Buy and import new one from your side of the pond (RWI AMERICA)with 12 month warranty as before for a very reasonable £154 inc all delivery and import taxes paid. The only downside is if import fails it's $$$ and grief to sent back to U.S, tho I can't see even a budget radiator busting within a year. Plus it's such a good price. Have any of you guys used RWI America before?
