1991 - CD player not grabbing disc?

Recently purchased a 91 convertible with 31/K mileage. Radio works but the CD makes a clicking noise but the disc won't go into the player. Has anyone had this issue or know if it's something that can be fixed?

I have had the same problem on my 91 Verte. Sent the radio to Sound Repair in Fl. and they fixed it for about 150 or so including shipping. No a big problem but they did have problems with the Bose system eating cd's.
