1992 fan replacment

Has anyone replaced a fan on a 92 C4? The book sounds simple, remove 4 screws and slide it up and out. This sounds to easy !!!! It looks like the accumulator is right in the way, if I remove the bracket, will the hose flex enough to slip the fan by?
