1994 Corvette copper metalic coupe on ebay

No doubt, that would be a great color to have! I’ve only ever seen three on the road since ‘94. Copper Metallic pops up at shows every now and then.

Just for kicks, I found a Copper vert with 5k mi on the web site listed below for $41,995.

Just wondering... anyone know how many of them had GREY interior??? That is a strange combo, every one that i have seen has had Tan, and I could easily understand a good handful with black inside... but grey... whew... that has to be rare! It could be 1 of 1 copper/grey '94

Looking over at the Bob McDormand site, I saw that they had an '89 listed as a "Corvette Festival"

Was that some sort of option package? Sounds like a horrible marketing idea for a Vette, but Chevy marketing certainly has had it's questionable moments (remember the Chevette Sport? - http://chevette.virtualave.net/4sale1.jpg).

The Indy Festival cars were actually from 1990. some were yellow/black top, some were turquoise/black top (both colors had "INDY" on the doors in pink). The reason why they had them was a short supply of the actual car that was supposed to pace the indy 500 that year (berretta convertible I think) so they used these corvettes for the big execs and others to drive around in while in town. At the end, they sold them all to the public.

Wow - never heard of them. But that at least make some sense, in that they had a specific niche, and were not just some strange marketing idea.

I must admit, though, that the turquoise is not my color at all. Would clash with my pasty-white-oh-so-hip-NY'er look. ;)

Vettelt193 hit the nail on the head for the ‘90 Festival cars. There were 30 yellow and 50 teal convertibles produced. On the site listed below, they have a few shots of the cars in the Bowling Green shipping/holding lot.

I haven’t been able to find the breakdown of ‘94 Copper Metallic interior colors. Maybe someone out there can chime in on this one.
