I've got the auto climate control system. And I noticed the other day with the system set to OFF that cool and warm air still leak into the cabin. It was 49 degrees outside and I had to open the window to cool the interior. I started playing around with the system and dialed the temperature control all the way down still with the system OFF. Sure enough, 2-3 minutes later the cabin got crispy cool. So somehow the temperature is able to be controlled with the system switched OFF. Any ideas or similar experiences?

Same with my car. I believe it has to do with positive cabin ventilation. There is always air circulating through the car, and it is more noticeable during the cold months. During the warmer months you usually have the window open, or the temp control is set to a cooler temp from the last time you ran the A/C.

Agree w/ 96,

Even w/ all shut down there is still air flow.
