Recalls

Yes what about this ??? Have you or any one else had this done ?? I see it and can't believe no one;s had this fixed. Maybe they fixed all of them. I will check my vin as soon as I get back to CT. could be costly

Take your car to your local Chevrolet dealer and have them run the VIN. The vehicle's full service history will clearly state whether or not the recall service was conducted on your car. If not, and your car is covered under the recall - then you should have the work done by the dealership. If the car is covered under the recall, then it will not cost you anything.

recalls

Thanks . I am surprised no one answers. Lot of looks. Will do it

According to the recall instructions, there should be a "Campaign Identification Label" attached to the radiator core
support indicating that the repair was done. There could also be 2..........one for the first recall (that used
incorrect/bad parts) and the second for the final (07A) recall. I've also seen where the label was affixed to the
drivers door post. Sounds to me like the first step would be to see if either of the labels are on your '96 and go
from there.....

96 L T 4 Recalls

;shrug;shrugChecked my car for labels that it was done . Nothing ,went to chevy dealer he ran my vin and said car is to old no record if it was done. My car falls in the vins that had to be recalled. He gave me a phone number but I got on line last night with G M they are checking my vin. Can't believe to old. He looked on line and said NO RECALLS open for your car. I will wait a few days then call the number customer service for Chevys. Any one heard of this? Can be costly to re place the rockers.:D

Recalls 96 L T 4

G M Chevrolet Division contacted me and assured me my 96 had the recall done. They found my record . They were very nice took my name and put my information on file for any future recalls so they can locate the car. I think if you have an LT4 it would pay to get yours checked out.:beer
