Tough locale!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

It really doesn't matter what options your vette has because of the low mileage.

What comes into play is if the new owner wants to maintain it to your standards or just drive an almost new vette.

The mileage is almost meaningless as long as it's under 10,000 miles for your year vette.

The person buying your vette is going to have to travel to see it in the country.

If that was my vette l would hold onto it until the Spring and sell it at a Corvette event in the $26/27,000 area. Even though your vette has fewer miles then the 02 l discussed on the other thread, it is also 3 yrs older. And being black is worth $.

In today's market if you sold the vette yourself l wouldn't go under $23/24,000. That is only approx $2000 less then the other vette which sold quick.

And believe me your car in the condition it should be in with the low miles should bring around $30,000 when the market was strong before the summer.

Good Luck

Alan

I will try and spread the word.

hi

i agree kingman but how can i spread the word without knowing more info. some peeps are looking for specifics like stick, hud, dual a/c, etc. if your looking just to pick up a vette without a care whats in it, then i agree with you.

Option's

Hi

Most of the C5's came from the factory fully equiped minus some of the exotic options not needed for everyday driving.

I'm sure it's auto with both the lexan and solid tops and if he went for both tops then he surely doesn't have a bare bones 99.

The 99 taken in trade is a joke, the dealers after all said in done will only give the vette 18/19 at most. This is if they have a call for vettes.

The low mileage means nothing in a trade in as long as it's not over 15,000 miles a year. They will say that they will give you a little extra but thats bull.

This vette must be sold privately to come out whole.

Still a car-fax must be pulled to keep honest people honest.

If you want to sell a car...list the options and whether or not its a stick or automatic.

Selling price is a good idea as well.

Good luck

Relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

The owner first posted last night around 8pm and l'm sure that he works for a living so wait until latter and then l'm sure he will respond.

To me this vette seems to be a winner if the price is realistic.
