It just goes to show you can learn something new every day..... although here in rural Missouri, if you know things about art, etc., , people assume you are "light in the loafers".

Anyway, it still looks like two tips for me (same sound, lighter weight, less money).

This is in no way to suggest that because you have two tips you are light in the loafers.

This has been one of the most interesting threads I can remember in a while with all the different directions the subject matter has been approached from, and one of the funniest when it comes to dry humor I can remember. Anyone stumbling across this thread for the first time and reading it all the way through is going to find it fascinating, I'm certain.

You folks are what make Corvette Action Center so unique and cool. Thanks.

"This is in no way to suggest that because you have two tips you are light in the loafers."
"This is in no way to suggest that because you have four tips you are mentally unstable."

I've found the happy medium that should satisfy both. You can have two tips and fill the hole at the same time. Some might argue that this is Horror vacui in it's extreem but there are still those who might argue that something is needed inside the pipes now. It's got to be LOUD!

Personally, if I ever were to add an aftermarket catback, it would most definately be the 2-tip Borla Stingers.:beer

Corsa Pace Car with Tiger Shark tips for me. They not only look great but sound fantastic hooked up to my new LG long tube headers and High Flow cats.

One of the posts questioned the possible weight savings (two vs four) I can easily gain the few pounds you might save after a few beers for lunch. :)

Although I didn't do an official weighing, the LG headers, Hi-Flow cats and X-pipe weighed considerably less then the stock exhaust.

4 Tip Borla's on my 2004 CE Convertible - I couldn't be happier, one of the best aftermarket products I've found.

I decided on the Borla Quad Round Stingers because I feel like it looks like it fills up the indention under the bumper for the exhaust. With two pipes, it looks empty.:cool

Ah- "it looks empty." We're back to the "horror vacui" thing again. :L

Some threads are not what they appear just from the title. This one has been one of the MOST entertaining threads I can remember in a while. Dooscoop, you should scroll back and read it all from the beginning. You'll get to the "horror vacui" part.

Currently running two tip stingers. Loud and nasty and always get positive comments. I've heard them all and the two tip versions usually sound louder because the end cans are bigger.

What type of exhaust did you get? I like the 4 - 4" pipes.AND
Are you selling the black side protectors? I remember I wanted to buy them off of soemone but forgot who?

Isn't great to have a choice? Although it is merely a matter of subjectivity, those Corsas with Pro Tips are difficult to top, in my opinion.

Go with 4

Have settled on the Borla Stingers, so I won't delve into the whole "which type of exhaust" debate. But, I'm torn between the 4 tip look and the 2 tip look. I think 2 looks cleaner, but 4 looks more stock from a distance (which I also like). I don't know if there's any appreciable difference in sound, as I've never heard the 2 setup, just the 4. 2 would surely weigh a little less, and is a couple hundee cheaper... but still I'm not sure. What do y'all think?

Definately go with 4. I have the Billy Boat Quad Oval shape and the look and sound is dynamite.
