2 or 4 In. Pleat

Hi all, im looking to purchase some new seat covers for my 1980 'vette. I just am not sure if i have 2 in. or 4in. Pleat. What is the pleat and how do i know which i have , thanks.

I'm told that the seats we put in our 74 are from an 81/82 -- I wanted something with greater lateral/side bolster support- - the pleats in both the back and seat bottom are two inches.

PF, The pleat will be the distance from the stiching along the outside edge of the seat to where the inner seating section.
measure from the outer stiching to the inner section,this will give you the info ,whether 2 or 4 inch pleat for the seat.

Check in Mid America Catolog; I think they have a picture in there that shows you where to measure.

GEE I always thought this was the RIGHT SIDE.:L It is raining here,but a day of sun once in awhile. I'm still looking for work; I've even been looking down your way in the land of endless summer. On a sad note I sold the Daytona, see my thread on that.

How are things going down there on the other side of the world? I take it you are keeping the vette. I'm glad to hear that. Stay in touch and maybe some day we'll get a chance to meet up in person.

yes, i am keeping the vette. getting my money situation in order.plus Mrs. Johnson, wants me to be happy,so she said to keep it! what a wife.
of course, a few pieces of sparkly things helped her mood!
