how hot should the oil temp get when in stop and go traffic, when its like 85* out?...

anybody ever change a " heater control valve"? if so was it tough to do?

I'll give you my experience The oil gets hotter running hard! In traffic without a cooler mine will peak at the coolant temp temps run to 226 F till the fans kick in. when running on the road oil runs about 30 over the coolant. Max should be under 240 however some on track temps have hit 260 in my car and I have heard others hit 270-290 this isn't too bad with Synthetic but it's toast for dino oil
