Searched but couldn't find this one. Car was flooded while parked during a severe thunderstorm on 7/31. Street flooded to about 20", driver's side compartment filled to the door sill, passenger side about 2". Car was emptied out after water subsided and dried with a wet/dry vac and towels. Wouldn't start, alarm sounded, wound up disconnecting the battery and having it towed to a dealer, who did the repair work. Insurance company covered 100% of the work done so far under comprehensive.
Dealer dried everything out, cleared all of the codes and only thing requiring replacement was the carpet padding. Car starts and runs fine now, no codes reported via the DIC.
Dealer missed the following:
1. No parking lights.
2. No tail lights.
3. Dash (instrument) lights come on with the courtesy lights, but when the headlight switch is turned to parking lights or headlights they go out.
Fuse #6 is good.
Any ideas? I have a return appointment to the same dealer for follow-up, but wanted to know if there's something obvious I've overlooked.
