2000 C5 No Start

What kind of no crank issues can be created by disconnecting the battery, installing a stereo and then reconnecting the battery? Electrical system and stereo seems fine otherwise (not my car).

That's what I suspected but wasn't sure. There must be more to the story than what I've been told. Students at my son's Vo-Tech disconnected the batt to install a stereo. After installation they hooked the batt back up and were left with this problem. They are probably going to have to trailer it to the dealer to fix. They were supposedly told by Chevy that they thought the problem may be with the factory anti-theft. Do you think this is just plain bad luck? I don't know what they could have done! :(
