is the inlet valve solenoid replaceable or will hydraulic unit need to be replaced

I'm sure GMjunky or c4c5specialist will chime in with an answer but until then you might check this site out. I know GMjunky has used them before to fixed the ABS module.

Yep,I use Brandon's services when necessary!!:thumb
But first,I'd like to see "ALL Systems" codes History and Current!!:thumb:thumb
Sometimes the problems are caused by other things such as Grounds or Wiring Connections!:thumb:thumb:thumb

The inlet valve solenoids in the EBTCM are not serviceable. You replace the entire module. With a 97, if the car has not received periodic brake fluid flushes, it won't surprise me if the EBTCM has failed.

While the summary of this code might be: 28-TCS - Traction Control System: C1263 RF Inlet Valve Solenoid Malfunction, before I'd simply replace the module, I'd get out the FSM and review the diagnostic steps for that code and the others which are stored.
