2001 Z06 beats 2005 c6

Saw the race at phoenix raceway. Talked with both drivers. Cars are 100% stock. Hot fri. eve. Z06 went 12.77 @ 110.56 mph. C6 six speed went 13.05 @ 108.90 mph. Both cars had about 3,000 miles on the od. Both drivers have raced before. Fun to watch newer muscle cars do the 1320!

Was the C6 a Z51 optioned car?

Yes The guy said he got every option avalible. The 01 Zs are sneaky fast cars.

I run an essentially stock 2002 Z06 at the strip. It is faster than any stock C6 that I have run against at the 1/4 mile.
