I'm not sure if I've asked before. About a year ago, I noticed my oil pressure gauge acting erratic. Sometimes it would read 0, sometimes it would peg past 80. I notice that when this happens, during restart the gauge does not reset back to 0 before reading.
Ok, so I've dealt with that issue, the other day I noticed my tach, moving very strange. It was consistent with engine speed, but instead of transitioning smoothly, it was very jerky.
My dad borrows my truck today, and calls me that the speedo says he's traveling 90, and he is sitting still at a light. I've researched the issue a bit, and it seems these trucks are prone to dash instrument problems. There have been many TSB's.
My question is, at 7 years old, and 63k miles, what are my options. Will the dealer cover the repairs under a recall? Anyone have any experience?
Thanks
