New to forum, have a silly question. Does the steering wheel on the 2004 coupes lock in place when turned off? Mine turn freely when parked. Thanks!

HI there,
You should already have the first recall done, 01044a. After this, we will only be reprogramming a computer for low voltage conditions.

I'm sorry c4c5 but I'm somewhat confused at this point.
My 98 was built in jan 98.
I bought it from the original owner in jun 99.
Unless the recall was done in the first 18 months it hasn't been done because in the almost 5 years I've had it, it has never been to the dealer.
thanks,

HI there,
Sorry, I stand corrected.
You might not have been within the old recall.
So, that would be a little more.
The locking plate within your column would be removed, and the reprogram done.
My apologies, c4c5
